Terms of service

Last updated 13 September 2026

1. Who we are

Sitelift (sitelift.download) is run by [LEGAL ENTITY], [STREET AND NUMBER], [POSTCODE] [CITY], the Netherlands, KvK [KVK NUMBER] (“we”). These terms apply to every use of Sitelift. Questions: support@sitelift.download.

2. What Sitelift does

Sitelift copies the public pages of a website built with a no-code builder and packages them as static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts and media) in a zip. How complete an export is depends on the site. Anything that needs the builder’s servers, such as forms, site search, CMS filtering, member areas, checkouts and logins, doesn’t work in the exported files.

3. Your account

You sign in with your email address. Keep access to it: whoever controls that inbox controls the account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. Only sites you may export

You may export only websites you own or are authorized to export. You confirm this for every export, and we keep that declaration with your account, the URL, your IP address and the time. You are responsible for your rights in the exported content, including fonts, images and code that others license to you, and for following your builder’s terms.

5. Fair use

  • Don’t try to get around the limits of your plan.
  • Sitelift never tries to get around a site’s bot protection. When a site challenges our crawler, the export stops.
  • We may refuse exports of a site whose owner asked us to (see takedown requests), and suspend accounts that break these terms.

6. Plans and payment

The plans and their prices are on the pricing page. Prices are in euros. No VAT is charged, because we use the Dutch small business scheme (kleineondernemersregeling, KOR). Payments are processed by Mollie B.V.

  • An Export Pass covers one website (by its registered domain). You can re-run that site free for 7 days after the first export, up to 10 times. An unused pass expires 12 months after purchase.
  • A monthly plan renews every month until you cancel it. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you paid for. Unused exports don’t carry over to the next month.

7. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content, that right ends once we start supplying it with your consent. At checkout you ask us to start straight away and confirm that you then lose the right of withdrawal.

8. When an export fails

If an export fails on our side, stops because the site’s bot protection challenged us, can’t export the start page, or is cancelled before it finishes, the export it used is returned to your balance automatically.

9. Your files

A finished zip can be downloaded for 48 hours; then we delete it. We keep no other copy, so download it in time.

10. No warranty

Sitelift is provided as it is. We work to make every export complete and correct, but we can’t promise that every site exports perfectly.

11. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn’t limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or where the law doesn’t allow a limit.

12. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. That deletes your export history and any unused credits. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

13. Changes

We email you at least 30 days before a change to these terms that affects you. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect.

14. Law

Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live.
